Hey there, I'm Anna!

I’ve been painting since childhood, first sitting beside my mum as a little girl while she crafted beautiful paintings of her own. Over the years, creativity has remained a constant part of my life. I work in oils and love the depth, and atmosphere the medium allows me to create.

 

My perfect day is a simple one - cruising the coastline or countryside with my husband Chris, our kids and the dogs in the Valiant, admiring beautiful scenery and stopping (far too often!) to photograph moments that later inspire my paintings. While Chris and the kids are usually off enjoying a swim in some beautiful hidden spot, I inevitably find myself wandering off with my camera, chasing the feeling created by shifting light, atmosphere, weather, and the quiet beauty of a moment. These are the moments that almost always find their way into my paintings.

 

Chris is endlessly supportive and creative in his own right, handcrafting many of the beautiful frames for my work, which makes each piece feel even more personal.
