Artwork & Colour Representation
 
Every effort has been made to photograph and display artworks as accurately as possible. Please note that colours and tones may vary slightly between screens, monitors, and devices. Paintings may appear a little different in person due to lighting, display settings, and the natural depth and texture of oil paint.
 
Original Artwork
 
All paintings are original works created by Anna Eteveneaux using professional quality materials. Small imperfections, texture variations, and brush marks are considered part of the character and handmade nature of original artwork.
 
Framing
 
Selected paintings are available in handcrafted frames made by Anna’s husband using beautiful New Zealand native Rimu timber. As Rimu is a natural material, variations in grain, tone, knots, marks, and character are to be expected and intentionally embraced as part of the uniqueness of each frame. Painted or stained frames are crafted from pine.

Paintings not shown framed may also be framed upon request at the purchaser’s expense.
 
Shipping
 
Available paintings can be shipped throughout New Zealand and internationally. Shipping costs will vary depending on artwork size, framing, destination, and courier requirements. Shipping charges will be confirmed prior to purchase where applicable.

International shipping is available; however, framed artworks made with New Zealand native timbers may be subject to individual country import regulations and restrictions. Please get in touch prior to purchase for international framed shipping enquiries. Paintings displayed with frames can have the frames removed by request.

Every care is taken to package artworks securely to help ensure they arrive safely.
 
Delivery Timeframes
 
Please allow additional time for framed works, commissions, or custom framing requests. Delivery timeframes may vary depending on location and courier services.
 
Oil Paint Drying Times
 
Oil paint dries naturally over time and can take significantly longer to fully cure than other painting mediums. While most available paintings listed on the website are ready to ship, some works may still be in the final stages of drying or sealing at the time they are photographed and uploaded.
 
To ensure each artwork arrives safely and in the best possible condition, paintings will only be shipped once they are fully dry and properly sealed. In some cases, this may result in a small delay before shipping.

Commissions
 
Commission enquiries are always welcome. Please note that commissioned artworks are created in Anna’s individual style and interpretation rather than as exact reproductions of photographs or previous works.
 
Returns & Exchanges
 
Please choose carefully, as original artwork purchases are generally non-refundable due to the unique and one-of-a-kind nature of each piece.

If your artwork arrives damaged during shipping, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of both the artwork and packaging so the issue can be resolved as quickly as possible.

Caring for Your Artwork
 
Original oil paintings are created to be enjoyed for many years to come, but like all original artwork, they should be cared for thoughtfully.
 
To help preserve your painting:
 

• Avoid hanging artwork in direct sunlight or harsh UV light, as prolonged exposure may cause colours to fade over time.

• Avoid areas with high moisture or humidity such as bathrooms or poorly ventilated spaces, as this can affect both the painting and framing.

• Keep artworks away from extreme temperature changes, heating sources, or damp environments to help prevent warping or cracking.

• Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth if needed. Avoid using cleaning products, sprays, or water directly on the painting surface.

With proper care, original oil paintings can remain beautiful for generations.
